Majid Al Attabi was born in Baghdad, Iraq to a simple family. He studied Engineering in Baghdad, hence the title Majid "Al Muhandis (المهندس)," which means "The Engineer" in Arabic. Majid was raised in a simple Muslim family, where he was diligent about work, finishing his University studies, and an interest in the arts. Majid wanted to enter the field of art, despite his family's opposition and anger in the matter, so he opposed his parent's desire and finished University education in addition to learning the art of Music.
